What does this qualification cover?

English language is fundamental to our understanding of the world. Throughout English language, you will learn how to communicate effectively and accurately, whilst developing your inference skills.

Split into two larger skills: reading and writing, English language allows you to explore texts and analyse the use of language/structure, whilst learning how to recreate these in your own writing.

What’s included

Throughout the course you will study multiple extracts, across the nineteenth century to the twenty-first. These will be fiction and non-fiction.

You will also learn how to create successful narratives and descriptives, and how to persuade and inform multiple audiences through letters, articles and speeches.
